About Help2Smile

1 smile makes a difference everywhere!

Help2Smile is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing medical support to children with a form of cleft palate around the world, regardless of their location. Cleft palate, also known as harelip (we prefer not to use the word harelip because of stigma), can cause lifelong disability or impairment if timely treatment in the form of surgery is not provided.

The organization was founded as a spin-off from the Care4Tina Foundation, which has provided more than 10 relief missions to China and helped more than 425 patients in Xian, China's ancient imperial capital.

Care4Tina ceased operations in 2023, having achieved its goal of providing sustainable medical support to Xian in China by training local doctors to perform schisis surgeries independently.

Help2Smile has set itself the goal of providing sustainable medical assistance to children in need around the world, with the motto "A (smile) makes a difference everywhere." Since 2010 the team of professionals and from its inception in 2021 onwards as Help2Smile has been providing free reconstructive surgery and medical treatment to those who do not have access to it due to financial and geographical barriers.

The organization works with local partners, including hospitals and medical professionals, to provide life-changing medical care to those in need. Help2Smile also works to build the capacity of local medical professionals through training and education. Through these efforts, the organization not only improves the health and well-being of individuals, but also strengthens health care systems in developing countries.

Help2Smile's work is made possible through the dedication of its volunteers and the generosity of donors. Thanks to its efforts, children with a cleft palate can live as normal a life as possible.

In previous years, the team's efforts in China have already helped hundreds of people regain as normal a life as possible. Help2Smile does essential work by providing free medical care to people in countries where care is not available locally.
